A Creamy, Naturally Sweet Hot Chocolate That Loves You Back

Creamy Walnut & Cacao Hot Chocolate with Dates

Makes 12 ounces ⬩ Ready in 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons walnut pieces
  • 2 teaspoons cacao nibs
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds or ½ tablespoon hemp seeds
  • 3–4 Medjool dates, pitted
  • 1¼ cups hot water

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender.
  2. Blend until creamy.
  3. Pour into a mug. Sip joyfully as you nourish your body!

Chef's Notes

The walnuts and chia seeds add a little bit of fat and creaminess to this recipe. If you wish to leave out the chia seeds, you can do that, no problem. Some or all of the walnuts could also be replaced with cashews.
