"I've been eating a plant-based diet for 18 years and much of the information in this course was new to me. I would not have left anything out—it was all useful, including the food storage tips, knife skills, meal planning, and of course the recipes. I think this course is ideal for helping people stay on a health-promoting diet for life."
— Kevin M., Sierra Madre, CA
MEET YOUR TEACHER
Hi, I'm Katelin Mae
I teach whole-food, plant-based cooking the way it actually needs to work—in real kitchens, on real weeknights, for real people who are done with "healthy" food that doesn't satisfy.
I hold a Master's in Nutrition from Bastyr University, and for nearly a decade I taught at two of the most respected residential health programs in the country—TrueNorth Health Center and Dr. McDougall's Program. I've led over 500 cooking classes and reached more than 15,000 students.
The reason for this course is because something I saw again and again in every class I taught: people had learned what to eat—but still struggled to sustain it. Not for a lack of effort or commitment, but because no one had taught them how to make it easy and delicious. How to build flavor without oil, sugar, or loads of salt. How to turn whole plant foods into meals they actually looked forward to eating.
Plant-Based Cooking 101 is my answer to that. It’s the course I wish I'd had when I started. The techniques and recipes that became my staples—refined over a decade of teaching thousands of students what works and what doesn't.
If you've ever known what to do but needed help doing it—this is for you.
